The Joan Effect

"The Joan Effect" is a philosophy that if a woman progresses in a genuine way, she will show up better for other women- which can result in a change for them.  Maybe they see a woman with more confidence, they hear enthusiasm for her passions, they get introduced to a new idea, or they simply have a more meaningful conversation about themselves.  And they- in turn- walk away slightly more curious, or standing a little taller, or feeling a bit BOLDER.

Joan's intent is to create spaces where this progress happens.  We want women to feel seen and heard, to connect with who they truly are, and to realize they are not alone in what they carry.  And it's our belief that the more frequent we can do this- especially with women who are not exactly like us- the faster, deeper, and more impactful the progress becomes.
